  1. Your Lithium Battery is warrantied for 5 years. The life cycle of lithium batteries is determined by charge cycles: 
    The 48 volt battery is rated for 985 charge cycles
    The 72 volt battery is rated for 1,450 charge cycles 
  1. The Lithium Battery in your golf cart is designed for long life and fast recharging. It is vital that you charge the lithium battery after each use. The golf cart battery is designed to be recharged frequently and can handle many charge cycles.
  2. Avoid running the golf cart lithium battery to low levels before recharging.
  3. You should NEVER run the cart to 0% power. If this occurs the cart will require dealer service at your expense. Keep in mind, Royal EV’s are programmed to retard the speed of the vehicle once the cart displays less than 20% battery life, and goes into safe mode. 
  4. Regularly inspect your battery for corrosion. You can remove any corrosion by wiping away any white or green buildup with a soft wire brush or sandpaper.
  5. Regularly inspect for any physical damage to the battery.  If the lithium battery is damaged, cracked, dented or leaking, please contact Golf Cart Factory for service assistance.

Yes. The charger in the Royal-EV will turn on and off when it recognizes a dissipation in the battery and shut off when it’s fully charged.

No. Extension cords should never be used to charge the Royal EV. The battery will not charge properly, and it could cause a fire.

  1. There is a toggle switch under the seat. Flip this switch to neutral and you will be able to easily push the cart. Once you fully charge the cart, be sure to turn the switch back or the cart will not run.
